A cinematic journey inspired by Turkish mythology
Yeşim Taşı Efsanesi is a fantasy adventure adapted from Ömer Ünal’s books, published by Kronik. Friendship, courage and a connection with nature shape Oğuz, Umay and Berk’s journey.
Serdar Çetinkaya produces and directs the film, with a screenplay by Murat Akkuş. Tayfun Tuna serves as AI director and Sefa Özkan as assistant director. The production uses AI-assisted filmmaking methods.
The voice cast, directed by Altay Çapan, includes Sinan Pekinton, Olcay Kavuzlu and Ceylin Ada as Umay. The first official trailer premieres on the film’s YouTube channel at 20:00 Turkey time on 17 September 2026.
